Hello, and thank you for writing for me!

As you can probably tell re: fandom and character choices, I'm less into romantic iddy stuff, and more of a very very strong friendship kind of person. Hopefully this doesn't turn you away.

Likes: Hurt/comfort, fluff, angst, cuddling, mind control, found family, teamwork, body horror. I really like interesting imagery and descriptions, plotty stuff, and mysteries! I also do like happy/hopeful endings a lot more than depressing ones.

DNW: Basically anything to do with sex - vanilla, kinky, or otherwise. I am very sex-repulsed - sorry! Ditto for romance. Vomit, urine, shit, and all other bodily fluids/wastes (sexually and non sexually, including any kinks relating to it as well as toilet humor).

I've listed some specific iddy stuff under each relationship in my original request, but if you want to take some tags/suggestions from one category and apply them to another because you like the sound of it, go ahead!

 

Fandom: Doctor Who: Virgin New Adventures - Various Authors

Relationship: Seventh Doctor & Bernice Summerfield

I've read all the VNAs (and listened to all the Big Finish audios featuring the two of them together), so go wild as far as canon is concerned.

There's a particular part from SLEEPY by Kate Orman where Seven's watching Benny sleep, and is thinking about how 'she'd make a fabulous old lady, full of stories and laughter. Maybe with some grandchildren. Maybe he'd visit, teach them origami and stargazing' - and that is a) absolutely adorable and b) just really sums up how fond he is of her.

In general, I prefer for Benny to be the one in need of saving/comfort/etc. If you want to flip this around a bit, that's fine too.

Based on the tags I gave:

·       Aftermath of Possession – no specific ideas. I just like possession-based narratives and the inevitable mental anguish and trauma fallout from getting rescued/breaking out from a situation like that.
·       Body Horror - Flowers growing out of bodies, Flowers growing out of someone's empty eye sockets - no specific thoughts for how/where/why for all of these - just that I like these tropes a lot! I also just like body horror in general. I think it’s neat. I’m strange like that.
·       Dangerous Character Willing to Destroy World to Save and Protect One Person - as with Seven & Ace (see below), I really do love the Doctor Getting Very Scary For Benny's Sake.
·       Forehead Kisses – smooch. especially in the aftermath of bad/traumatic stuff happening.
·       Hurt/Comfort - Hallucinations/Delirium, Hurt/sick character isn't quite lucid – I wish I had more to say about this apart from ‘I just really like these tropes a lot and it’s all about the Tenderness’, but – nope, that’s all I got.
·       Mind Control - Recovery while in high pressure circumstances - Time Lords are touch-telepaths - that's bound to be helpful with potential mind control recovery, right?
·       Time Loop – Doctor Who is the sort of canon that lends itself to Groundhog Day-esque plots (and all the angst and drama that comes with it). And I really do love time loop fics – whether it’s a simple ‘day keeps resetting’ sort of deal, or ‘i/the other person keep dying and there’s nothing i can do to stop it’ thing, or anything else. Any variation on the trope (subverted or not) would be a delight.

 

Fandom: Doctor Who (1963)

Relationship: Seventh Doctor & Ace McShane

There's just something about this particular Doctor-companion relationship that's always drawn me to it - maybe it's how much fun they always seemed to be having on adventures together? Although probably it was the mentor-mentee dynamic with high-powered explosives thrown in for good measure. I really have no clue. Either way, feel free to make them hurt as much as you want.

In addition - if queer themes appeal to you and you feel like writing them, I've always been a big fan of nonbinary!Doctor and bisexual!Ace. No pressure to include this.

·       two people really want Found Family but are too emotionally stunted to admit it – I mean, this tag pretty much explains itself. But apart from that – I’m very much onboard the ‘seven is ace’s space dad’ train, but I do think that neither of them are the sort of people who would put that exact label on it, if that makes sense.
 

Fandom: 魔道祖师 - 墨香铜臭 | Módào Zǔshī - Mòxiāng Tóngxiù - )

Relationships: Lán Yuàn | Lán Sīzhuī & Wèi Yīng | Wèi Wúxiàn and/or Wèi Yīng | Wèi Wúxiàn & Junior Ensemble

I got into this particular fandom mid-last year, and man, there’s just so many good relationships in this story, aren’t there? Background and otherwise, romantic and familial. That being said, I do specifically want some stuff with Wei Wuxian and the Kids. whether this takes the form of a mentor/teacher-and-student(s) sort of relationship, or parental, or big-brother-esque – up to you. Just, no romance between them. I’m familiar with the novel, the animation, and the web series, so feel free to do the standard kind of mix-and-match of your choice of canons.

‘Junior Ensemble’ in this case refers to Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, Jin Ling, and Ouyang Zizhen, but if you end up cutting out one or both of those last two I’d be okay with that. (Or, y’know, just Sizhui, if you feel like going that route.) Juggling a bunch of characters is hard, I get it! Background wwx/lwj is also absolutely fine because... well, they’re them.

Some of my favorite bits in canon involve Wei Wuxian and the juniors interaction – e.g., Mo Manor, Yi City, Burial Mounds Siege Post-Timeskip – and it’s just delightful to see him getting along with the younger cultivators and also doing a really splendid job of teaching them on-the-go.

I also just like body horror in general. This particular universe is kind of perfect for horrible body horror-esque stuff happening, given all the curses and spirits and magic going on all the time.
·       Case Fic – I suppose the more canon-accurate term here is ‘night hunt fic’. and I really do love a good night hunt.
·       Entire Squad Willing To Throw Down For One Person – the One Person being Wei Wuxian, because everybody hates the Yiling Laozu and this will not stand.
·       Mentor/Teacher figure goes ferally protective over charges – I mean, Wei Wuxian is the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. It’s a bit of a cliche, but the whole idea of the juniors realizing ‘oh shit, he really is the guy who singlehandedly took down legions of enemy cultivators back in the day with nothing but a dizi’ when wwx snaps in defence of them.. lovely.
·       teaching moments while rescues are taking place – the whole bit in Yi City where he’s lecturing them on Important Information while briskly getting them out of danger is like brain candy to me.
·       Time Loop – as above, I love time loop fics in any capacity. They’re just such a great container for angst, hurt/comfort and character studies.
